The Erlebnis-Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee offers swimming and relaxation for the whole family. There are slides, among them a looping slide for one person and a funnel slide, a wave pool and several saltwater relaxation baths. The large sauna world has themed saunas, infusions and quiet rooms. Swimming courses, massages and children's birthday parties are also on offer. The thermal baths are open all year.
What visitors say
Opinions differ considerably here. The sauna area with an extensive infusion programme spread over the day receives the most praise, as do the friendly staff and the slides, among them a looping slide and a black hole slide which go down well especially with older children. Recurring complaints concern water that is too cold in some of the pools, crowds in bad weather with long queues at the ticket desk, and occasionally the cleaning of the changing cubicles. On a quiet weekday morning the picture is clearly more positive than on a rainy Saturday.
