What visitors say

The museum is housed in a defensive tower and is compact: a well-made introductory film about the peasant wars, farming implements from the region, striking masks in the stairwell and, at the top, a view in all directions under the old roof timbers. Visitors call it easy to take in but worthwhile, including as a family. The practical point that recurs: the tower turned out to be closed at the stated times and the key has to be collected from the tourist information office, a few minutes' walk away.
