The Nationalparkwelten in Mittersill tell the history and the stories of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern. The exhibition consists of ten worlds in which visitors see places, eras and areas that are otherwise not accessible.

The 360-degree film with the eagle flight is what visitors name most often as the highlight, and the interactive elements such as the tunnel to a marmot burrow work well for children. Opinions diverge on price and size: some stay two to three hours and consider it a good rainy-day destination, others are done in half an hour and find the admission too high. The sound level of music and animal noises is also mentioned as disturbing. Texts are in German and English.
