The Leoganger Asitz is laid out as the Berg der Sinne, with ten stations spread across the mountain, reached on foot or with the Asitzbahn or the Steinbergbahn. The offering ranges from the Flying Fox XXL across the valley and the Klangrodelbahn to a barefoot trail and quiet places such as the Stille Wasser. Every week there are programmes such as bread baking, a painting workshop and a herb workshop.

On the Leoganger Asitz the point is perceiving with all the senses, from fast activities to quiet places by the water and views over the mountain landscape.

Here you can look for your balance on the bike, fly across the valley with the Flying Fox XXL, watch the passing landscape in the Naturkino, eat a first slice of your own freshly baked bread, walk barefoot over earth, sand and stone, or experience music on the Tonspur Inseln. Children balance over stones or ride the Klangrodelbahn down while you sit at the Stille Wasser.

The Berg der Sinne consists of 10 stations on the Leoganger Asitz, reached on foot or with the Asitzbahn or the Steinbergbahn. Weekly recurring programmes such as bread baking, a painting workshop or a herb workshop complete the offering.

In winter Leogang lies in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn with 270 kilometres of piste and 70 cable cars and lifts. That area is part of the Alpin Card ticket association, together with the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun: 408 premium kilometres of piste, active 365 days a year, glacier included.

What visitors say

In reports the Asitz is described above all as an easy family mountain: at the middle station lies the Sinne-Park with dozens of playful stations, and a few minutes further on the Stille Wasser reservoir with places to lie down and a floating platform. Anyone walking up from the valley station in Leogang should allow about an hour and a half and some 450 metres of ascent. That route counts as easy, but runs largely over wide forest and gravel tracks that are also used by mountain bikers, so it is not spectacular walking. It is a day out with children rather than a mountain hike.
