At the middle station, on the Heimalm with its food and drink, there is a newly built gold panning site where panning is done from wooden tubs. Under expert guidance, visitors learn in a few steps how gold panning works, with a guarantee of finding something. From the alm there is a view over the Raurisertal. The gold panning site can be reached with the Rauriser Hochalmbahn.
