The museum in the Einlegerhaus in Obertrum, once a poorhouse, uses images and sound to show how people lived here in the past. The emphasis is on flax processing and farmhouse ceramics, alongside an authentic shoemaker's workshop, a living room and a hairdressing salon. There are regular temporary exhibitions on regional subjects.
- Visits by prior appointment, from a minimum of 2 people
The museum in the former poorhouse shows objects that give a good visual and acoustic impression of life in earlier times. The focal points are flax processing and farmhouse ceramics. The authentic shoemaker's workshop, the living room and the hairdressing salon are also worth seeing.
With an Easter and Christmas market and with flea markets the museum association raises money to improve the presentation in the exhibition rooms. There are regular special exhibitions on subjects of regional interest.
