Strandbad on the Zeller See with plenty to do for families: a large slide, a toddlers' pool, a diving tower, a swimming raft and a trampoline. There is also a solar-heated swimming pool, a sunbathing lawn and a small restaurant. A water ski school on the site gives courses.

The Zeller See lies embedded between mountain massifs and is a good place to swim on warm days. At the Strandbad Zell am See families find plenty of action: besides the giant slide there are a toddlers' pool, a diving tower, a swimming raft and a trampoline. There is also a solar-heated swimming pool. The water ski school on site gives sports courses. The Strandbad also has a small restaurant and a sunbathing lawn.

What visitors say

The lido on the Esplanade is the busiest of the pools around the lake, and that is noticeable: visitors advise arriving early because loungers and parasols go quickly. Besides direct access to the lake there are several basins, a baby pool and diving platforms, and SUP boards and boats are available for hire. The lake water feels chilly, but most people get used to it quickly. Parents of children who already swim well and of teenagers are the most positive; with toddlers the offering is more limited, and without a guest card some find the admission on the expensive side.
