Family pool in Dorfgastein, a few metres from the valley station of the Gipfelbahn-Fulseck. In summer there are a warm-water pool, an exercise, sports and children's pool, a large water slide, a play and sunbathing lawn and a beach volleyball court; indoors there are a wellness lounge, a solarium and a sauna. When it rains there is no pool operation, so plan the visit for good weather.

Summer
The Solarbad Gastein is a family and leisure pool in the Gasteinertal, a few metres from the valley station of the Gipfelbahn-Fulseck. The pool lies in the sunniest part of Dorfgastein.
There are a warm-water pool, an exercise pool, a sports pool and a children's pool, a large water slide, a large play and sunbathing lawn, a beach volleyball court, a wellness lounge, a solarium and a sauna.
On rainy days there is no pool operation.
Winter
In winter the sauna of the Solarbad is open with themed infusions. There are a bio sauna and a log cabin sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and heated loungers.
What visitors say
Visitors call it a pleasant place to cool off, with heated basins at different temperatures and a slide. The biggest objection in the reviews is crowding: in summer it can be full, and at least one visitor moved on to a thermal bath further down the valley for that reason. For children who cannot swim yet the offering is small; they have had enough of it after a couple of hours.
